Ingredients

    Ground beef, 16 oz
    *Old El Paso Taco Seasoning, 8 tsp
    Cheddar Cheese, 2 cup, shredded
    Tortilla Chips, 1 bag (7-1/2 oz)
    Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia)
    Water, tap, 1.5 cup (8 fl oz)
    Salsa, 1 cup
    Iceberg Lettuce (salad), 2 cup, shredded or chopped
    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 1 large whole (3" dia)

    brown meat and onion drain fat add water and taco mix simmer uncovered for 20 min ntill water is obsorbed add salsa. mix well. in a square baking dish 9x9 layer 1/2 meat mixture on botom then half the chips and half the cheese then the remaining meat mixture bake for 25 mins on 350 add remaining chips and cheese top with lettuce and tomatoes(good served with ranch or sour cream ... not included in nutritional value)
