Clean Rice Pudding

Introduction

Fabu rice pudding, full of good for you yumminess! Fabu rice pudding, full of good for you yumminess!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    3 cups *cooked* medium grain brown rice
    3 cups skimmed (non fat) milk
    1/2 cup raisins
    1/4 cup real maple syrup
    1 tsp real vanilla extract
    .5 tsp cinnamon
    .25 tsp nutmeg

Directions

Mix cooked rice, milk, raisins, maple syrup and vanilla in a good sized pot. Cook over medium heat for about half an hour, until thickened. Add the cinnamon and nutmeg and stir well, about a minute or two more.

When finished, pour into a dish, or into individual bowls.

I like to eat this warmed up with fresh fruit for breakfast.

Makes 12 half cup servings.
