Sweet Potato Bread

Ingredients

    Butter, unsalted, 1 stick
    Granulated Sugar, .75 cup
    Egg, fresh, 2 large
    *Whole Wheat Flour, 2 cup
    Baking Soda, .75 tsp
    *Iodized Salt, 2.5 gram(s)
    Sweet Potato Puree, 2 cups
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp
    Nutmeg, ground, 1 tsp
    Cloves, ground, .125 tsp
    Sour Cream, 2 tbsp
    Walnuts, 1 cup, chopped

Directions

Grease 8"x4" loaf pan.
Preheat oven to 350.
Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs. Stir in flour, soda, & salt. Add sweet potato puree. Mix until well combined. Stir in vanilla, spices, and sour cream. Stir to combine well. Stir in walnuts.
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
Bake 70 minutes. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Turn out onto cooling rack. Cool at least 15 minutes before cutting.
