Steak Stir Fry

Introduction

I used a pre-packaged steak fajita mix from the meat counter. I also used a rice steamer which is where the cooking time came from; it may be different if you cook the rice on the stove top. Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1.32 lbs beef round steak sliced
    1/2 cup green pepper sliced
    1/2 cup red pepper sliced
    1/2 cup onions sliced
    3/4 cup white rice
    1 cup water
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1/4 tsp salt
    other seasonings to taste

Directions

Makes four 1-cup servings (approximate)
1. Cook rice in rice steamer or according to package directions.
2. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in frying pan.
3. Saute peppers & onion.
4. Add steak, cook until desired doneness is reached.
5. Transfer to large bowl.
6. When rice is done add to steak/peppers/onions.
7. Add salt & pepper & other seasonings to taste.
