Introduction

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb 93% fat free ground beef
    2 cans of tomato sauce
    1 can black beans (rinsed)
    1 can of diced tomatoes
    1 can whole kernel corn
    1 package of McCormick mild chili seasoning mix
    1 can of light red kidney beans
    1 tsp ground cumin
    1 tsp texas pete
    1 cup of chopped onion
    1/2 cup of chopped bell pepper
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Yields: Eight one cup servings

First brown ground beef and sprinkle with the ground cumin. (salt and pepper to taste) Add the onions and peppers and continue until softened.

Add all other ingredients and stir over reducing heat to simmer as the pot heats up.

Serve as is or with a side of Tortillia chips or corn muffin (calories do not include these sides)
