Introduction

Ingredients

    16 oz of ground beef, extra lean 96/4
    1-cup yellow only (one full onion)
    1 green bell pepper
    44-oz Hunt's Tomato Sauce (one 29-oz, one 15-oz)
    3 - 16oz cans of Bush's dark red kidney beans - reduced sodium)
    4 - 14.5-oz cans of DelMonte Stewed Tomatoes, Italian Recipe
    2 - 4.5oz cans of OldElPaso chopped Green Chiles
    7 Tbls Chili Powder
    4 cloves of garlic, minced
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp red peper ( I do a heaping 1/4)
    1/2 tsp dried basil, crushed (heaping)
    1/4 tsp black pepper (heaping)

Directions

Cook ground beef, onion, green pepper, and garlic until ground beef is brown. Add everything things else, bring to boil and simmer for 1 and 1/2hr to 2 hr.

makes 16 1-cup servings

170 cal per 1 cub serving.

I feed a family of 4 two times plus with this recipe.

(I did not think the calories were correct so I added up all the info from the labels myself and came up with the same thing the nutritional calculator did)
