Introduction

This recipe came out of Better Homes and Gardens Best Bread Machine Recipes. It is the BEST one I have found, and it's light and healthy! Number of Servings: 18

Ingredients

    1.33 Cup Milk
    1/4 cup water
    2 Tbsp. honey
    4 tsp. Smart Balance 50/50 margarine
    2 cups whole wheat flour
    2 cups Gold Medal Better for Bread flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 tsp. bread machine yeast

Directions

Add the ingredients to the machine according to the manufacturer's directions. My bread machine takes 4 hours, 15 minutes for the loaf. The recipe says it's for 22 servings, but I have calculated it at a more realistic amount of 18 slices. 22 slices would be paper thin.
