Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 red pepper sliced
    2 celery stalks sliced
    1 can of tomatoes (with juice|)
    2 cans of mushrooms (drained)
    1 can of black olives (drained)
    3 chicken breasts sliced (no skin and no bones)
    1 medium onion (diced)
    apple juice (3/4 cup)
    1/2 cup tomatoe paste
    1 chilli pepper (optional)
    black pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
    1 bay leaf
    1 teaspoon of ground sage
    1 teaspoon of marjoram
    1 teaspoon ground savory
    1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley


Directions

combine all ingredients (ecept parsley) in a slow cooker
cook on high for four hours
OR
cook on low for eight hours
Sprinkle chopped parsley over the bowl of chicken stew once served.
Serves eight people and is great as left overs. All the prep work is just cutting chicken and vegetables and opening cans.
