Pasta sauce with veggies and ground turkey

Introduction

One jar of sauce enhanced with a bunch of fresh veggies and low-fat ground turkey. One jar of sauce enhanced with a bunch of fresh veggies and low-fat ground turkey.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1.25 lbs ground turkey
    1 large green bell pepper
    5 cloves garlic
    1 small red onion
    2 medium zucchini
    2 medium carrots
    4 cups fresh spinach
    1 jar Newman's Own Mushroom Marinara Suace
    salt, pepper to taste

Directions

Chop veggies to your liking. Saute onion and garlic in a little olive oil for a couple minutes. Add other veggies except spinach. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes, until tender. Take out of pan, set to side. In the same pan add a drizzle of olive oil, add turkey. Brown. Season with salt and pepper. Put veggies back in to pan with turkey. Add fresh spinach. Cook down for 2-3 minutes. Add jar of sauce. Serve over pasta. Would also be good over quinoa.
