Beer Braised Beef Short RibsSubmitted by: FLORIDAGRAM
2 lb beef short ribs (abt 6-8 pieces)
Flour to coat ribs (abt 1/2 cup)
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
Onion, 1 medium sliced
Lite Beer, 1 bottle or can
Oregano, 1 Tbsp
Basil, 1 Tbsp
Garlic, 1 clove, sliced
Mrs. Dash Original Seasoning, 1 Tbsp or to taste
Add ribs and shake to coat.
Add oil to large dutch oven or pan, heat and add ribs and sear on all sides.
Add onions, cook lightly. Then add beer and remaining ingredients.
Cover and cook on lowest heat slowly for several hours...til meat is very tender....I let mine cook about 2 to 3 hrs.
Very good served with green peas and No Yolk Noodles.
