Ingredients

    Stew Beef 16 oz
    Onions, raw, 2 cup, chopped
    Garlic, 1 clove, chopped
    Canned Diced Tomatoes, 3.5 cup
    Beans, white, 2 cup, drained and rinsed
    Butternut Squash, 2 cup, peeled and cubed
    Turnips, 2 cup, peeled and cubed
    Potato, raw, 1 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.)
    Celery, raw, 1 cup, sliced
    Carrots, raw, 1 cup, cubed
    Beef Broth, 4 cups
    Water, tap, 5 cups
    Basil, 2 tbsp, minced
    Salt, 3 tsp
    Pepper, black, 2 tsp

Directions

Sear beef and saute onions. Put in crock pot with all ingredients, gently stir to combine. Cook on HIGH for 2 hours, then reduce to LOW for 4-6 hours longer. Stir occasionally and adjust seasoning to taste.
