Get the crockpot out, load it up before you go to work and come home to a savoury, yet healthy low carb soup. Add a nice sprouted grain bread to the meal, and you're good to go. Ingredients

    1 can stewed tomatoes
    4 cans v8 cocktail juice, low sodium
    6 cups water
    1/2 green onion chopped
    1 lb lean ground turkey
    1/4 cup barley
    1/4 cup lentils
    a dash of pepper
    1 can peas
    10 cups shredded cabbage (of your choice)

Directions

Fill large crockpot full of all ingredients except the peas. Cook on high for 6 to 7 hours. Add peas and turn off.
