Daddy Mac's Crock Pot Beef Stew & Noodles

Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1.25 lbs Stew beef (cut into bite size pieces)
    4 - Large Yukon Gold Potatoes
    1 - Large onion (quartered)
    1 cup - Frozen Peas
    1 cup - Cabbage (chopped)
    1 tsp - dried Oregano
    1 tsp - dried Basil
    1/4 tsp dried Thyme Leaves
    2 - Bay Leaves
    small bag - Baby Carrots (40 -50)
    1/2 cup Red Wine (for the stew - full glass for the cook!)
    6oz - Elbow Macaroni
    1 tbs Cornstarch
    2 1/2 cups Water (more or less)
    2 cans - Beef Broth ( use fat free)

Directions

Makes 6 - 1 1/2 cup servings

Spray your crock pot with non-stick spray (or use a crockpot bag)

Mix the cornstarch with the wine to mix thoroughly. Add all ingredients to the crock and set on low for 6 hours.

Serve with a hard crusty bread. (Bread is not calculated in nutritional guide)
