Best Swiss Steak EVER!

Introduction

Great sauce for your mashed potatoes! Great sauce for your mashed potatoes!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 1/2 lbs round steak
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    2 Tbsp flour
    1 Tbsp + 1 tsp worchestshire
    2 Tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
    2 medium onions cut in slices
    10oz tomato juice
    1 cup diced tomatoes (i use the whole can, drained)
    1 Tbsp lemon juice
    1 Tbsp brown sugar
    1 tsp mustard

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, spray 1 qt casserole dish
with Pam cooking spray
2. Add Olive oil to frying pan, heat up medium heat
3. Cut steak into 6 even pieces, pound with mallet (if you
don't have one use your can of tomatoes)
4. Dredge with flour and put in frying pan, brown
5. Transfer to 1 qt casserole dish
6. In same skillet saute onion till tender, stir in remaining
ingredients, pout over meat.
7. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs till tender

This makes 6 servings
