Yummy calzone full of spinach, tomatoes, and cheese! Yummy calzone full of spinach, tomatoes, and cheese!Number of Servings: 8
Ingredients
-
Fresh Spinach
Grape Tomatoes
Mozzerella Cheese
Olive Oil
Pillsbury Pizza Crust
Parmesan Cheese
Garlic
Oregano
Directions
Heat 3 tbsp of olive oil in skillet. Add a cup of sliced grape tomatoes to oil. Season with garlic, oregano, basil, and salt. When tomatoes have started to break down add 3 cups of fresh spinach. Cook until spinach begins to wilt.
Spread out pizza dough on cookie sheet sprayed with non stick spray. Spoon spinach and tomato mixture and top with one cup of mozzerella cheese on one side of dough. Fold dough over the mixture and cut a few vents on top. I brushed with a little olive oil and sprinkled a little parm on top. Bake at 400" until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly inside. Can be served with marinara on the side, but doesn't really need it.
