Mama V's Mexican Lasagna (take 1)

    2 lb ground sirloin
    4 cup tomato juice
    1 can tomato paste
    1 can kidney beans
    2 tbsp chili powder
    1 tsp cumin
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 tsp onion salt
    2 cup lowfat cottage cheese
    4 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Brown ground beef. Add spices, beans, and tomato products.

Mix cheeses together

Layer repeatedly with uncooked lasagna noodles, beef mixture, cheese mixture, etc.

Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
