Cranberry Apple Relish

Introduction

This relish is great along side of roasted pork, chicken or turkey. Even my kiddos love it!!! This relish is great along side of roasted pork, chicken or turkey. Even my kiddos love it!!!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    12 oz. bag of fresh cranberries
    1/2 cup Sugar
    1/2 cup water
    juice of one lemon
    3 small apples, cored and chopped
    1 T pampered chef cinnamon sprinkles
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

    NOTE: In place of the PC cinnamon sprinkles you can use 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon or just add a cinnamon stick or two while simmering.


Directions

Place all ingredients into a 2qt. saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer on med-low for approximately 10 minutes, stirring occassionally.

Remove from heat and place into a glass dish to cool in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
