Introduction

adapted from a recipe I got from somewhere-thought the original too sweet and didn't taste quite right adapted from a recipe I got from somewhere-thought the original too sweet and didn't taste quite right
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    1 large rutabaga, peeled and cut in 1/2 inch strips
    1 Tble hoisin sauce
    1/2 tsp rice vinegar or champagne vinegar
    1 tsp sesame oil
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
    .5 tble honey
    1 tsp grated ginger
    .5 tble sesame seeds

Directions

Steam rutabaga strips till just soft, about 12 min.
toss in rest of ingredients except sesame seeds

Bake on cookie sheet about 20 min at 400 degrees

toss in seeds and cook another 10 min till tender and golden

Makes about 3 servings
