Beef, top sirloin, 1 lb
Red Wine, 1 cup
Beef broth 1/2 cup
Onion, 1 large, sliced
Butter, salted, 4 tbsp
Flour, white, 1 tbsp
Bacon, 6 medium slices, cooked
Mushrooms, fresh, 1 cup, pieces or slices
Parsley, 4 sprigs
Thyme, fresh, 4 tsp
Bay Leaf, 1 tsp, crumbled
Egg Noodles, enriched, 4 cups
Remove beef. Strain and reserve marinade.
Cook onions and mushrooms in butter until tender. Add beef and cook until browned. Remove and set aside beef, onion and mushroom mixture. Add flour, beef broth and marinade slowly to form a gravy. Put beef mixture back in and simmer covered or warm in a crock pot on low for 3 hours.
Cook egg noodles according to package directions and serve beef over the noodles
