Introduction

Although high in calories, this nutrient packed smoothie brings alot to the table. I like to have one after workouts, and for when I need a boost. It really helps you feel balanced. Although high in calories, this nutrient packed smoothie brings alot to the table. I like to have one after workouts, and for when I need a boost. It really helps you feel balanced.
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1/2 C frozen blueberries
    1 C Tropical Frozen Fruit Blend (such as Wawona Festival Blend fron Costco)
    2 C packed spinach leaves
    2 C packed Kale leaves
    1 C packed red leaf lettuce leaves
    1/2 med. banana
    1/2 C Almond Milk Beverage (I like Almond Breeze Unsw. Vanilla)
    1 C orange juice

    *Sometimes I use grapefuit segments as well, like the del monte packaged grapefuit cups in the ref. section. I don't drain it, just put the whole thing in and reduce the amount of oj)

Directions

Put items in blender and blend until smooth! If you need, add a little more oj or almond milk to thin it out a little.
