nice warm and filling nice warm and filling

Ingredients

    500gm leeks
    500gm carrot
    500gm turnip
    500gm onion
    3 large stick celery
    1 cup potato diced
    10gm each pearl barley.split peas.lentil green or red
    2 stock cubes
    approx 3pt water

Directions

soak dried lentils.split peas pearl barley in pan with soup cubes and 1pt water leave over night .grate or dice carrot.turnip potato finly cop onion celery leek or put all in a blender a chop roughly put in pan with stock top up with water till covered plus 2 inches above veg.Bring to boil then simmer for about 2 hrs or until veg soft.Serve with wholemeal roll
