1 stick of butter
1 C milk
1.5 C of Chef Meg's Chicken Stock recipe
salt and pepper to taste
Rub salt inside and out. Rub pepper on outside.
Line roasting pan with double aluminum foil
Put turkey in pan - breast side up.
Place a stick of butter on each leg (nutritional values for 1/2 stick on each leg, totally only one stick)
Pour 1 C milk on top (nutritional values for coconut milk)
Pull foil over it TIGHT and bake at 350 for 4 hours.
Check the turkey by pullin on the leg. If it pulls off easily it is done. If not, the leg is harder to pull. Turn the stove up to 357 and cook for one more hour.
One hour before turkey is finished pour a can of turkey broth over the breast (nutritional values 1.5 C chef meg's chicken stock)
Strain all juice to use for turkey gravy.
This is for 5 lbs of breast meat (or 20 4oz servings).
