WW venetian rice and peas

Ingredients

3 1/2cups chicken stock
1 1/4 c water
2 tsp butter
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 cup long grain rice
2 cups frozen peas
1/2 c grated parmesan cheese
Directions
Bring the stock and water to a boil in a small saucepan. Let simmer.
In a skillet, melt the butter, then saute the onion and celery until translucent. Add the rice and saute until the rice starts to look translucent.
Add 1 c of the stock mix and stir until liquid is absorbed. Continue to add the stock, 1/2 c at a time stirring until absorbed before adding more until the rice is just tender. Add the peas halfway through. Should take 20 minutes. Add the cheese and serve.
