Best Pasta Sauce

Submitted by: TBID227

Introduction

This is a very versatile recipe that turns out great every time! Simple and easy to make, ingredients all keep well for long periods of time. You can just make the sauce without the meat to use on homemade pizza or any other dish that calls for a marinara sauce. We use the hot italian turkey sausage. Also, for a variation we sometimes do half sausage and half 94% lean ground beef. This is a very versatile recipe that turns out great every time! Ingredients

    2 tbsp olive oil

    1 tbsp dried oregano
    2 tbsp dried parsley
    2 tbsp basil
    2 tsp onion powder
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1tsp-1tbsp pepper (depends on tastes)
1 tsp sugar (to reduce acid from tomatos, can omit)
