Beef Vegetable Soup

Introduction

Very easy soup, made with ground beef, frozen vegetables, and anything else you have at home. Very easy soup, made with ground beef, frozen vegetables, and anything else you have at home.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    3oz 95%lean ground sirloin, browned
    1/4 cup diced onions
    1/4 cup chopped green pepper
    2 small plum tomatoes (114G)
    2 servings of frozen mixed vegetables (170g)
    4 cups water
    1T or so of minced garlic
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

brown ground sirloin, add onions, green peppers and garlic, continue saute. Add tomatoes, saute until softened. add the frozen vegetables, saute for a couple of minutes to begin the cooking. Then add the water, all at once, scraping up any browned bits. salt and pepper, and simmer covered for about 10 minutes. Makes 4 good sized bowls (approx 1 1/2 C bowls each).
