Cocoa-Oatmeal Wads

Introduction

Delicious little balls can satisfy a sweet tooth. High in fiber, too! Delicious little balls can satisfy a sweet tooth. High in fiber, too!
Number of Servings: 32

Ingredients

    8 TB Margarine
    1/2 cup light vanilla soy milk
    2 cups granulated sucralose
    1/3 cup baking cocoa
    Dash cinnamon
    3 cups old-fashioned uncooked oatmeal

Directions

1. In large saucepan, heat margarine over medium heat. When margarine is completely melted add milk, sugar substitute and cocoa. Stir well and bring to a gentle boil over medium heat. Continue boiling for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

2. Remove from heat. Add a dash of cinnamon and stir. Stir in oatmeal. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper. Refrigerate until firm. Store tightly covered in refrigerator.


This recipe makes 32 wads. 1 wad equals one serving. Use a small cookie scoop if you prefer a more uniform shape.
