Italian Bake Chicken

Ingredients

    1.5 pounds bonless skinless chicken breast
    1/2 cup sesame seeds
    2 tbls coarse sea salt
    1 small onion minced (need 4 tble spoons)
    4 tbls of italian herbs (your choice)

Directions

Cut the chicken in to strips to make about 16 strips.
Combine all the ingredients in a shallow plate except for the chicken mix well then roll the chicken in the mixture to coat evenly and bake in a 400 degree oven for 18 minutes turning half way through

  • Did you mean 2 teaspoons of sea salt? The best measurement for sea or kosher salt is 1 tsp per 1 pound of meat. - 1/3/09

  • This sounds interesting, but 3,601.2 mg of sodium!?!?!

    That's over 1,300 mg higher than the RDA of sodium. This is not a healthy recipe.

    For me, this dish would be too salty to eat. I would reduce the salt a dash. - 12/22/07
