Introduction

I use this sauce over Broccoli Normandy mix when I feel like being 'bad" but not have a lot of guilt after eating it. This is a lighter version of a traditional cream cheese sauce. I use this sauce over Broccoli Normandy mix when I feel like being 'bad" but not have a lot of guilt after eating it. This is a lighter version of a traditional cream cheese sauce.

Ingredients

    2 oz neufchatel cheese
    4 oz Almond Breeze Original Almond Milk
    2 1/2 tsp Brummel and Brown Spread made with Yogurt
    1/8 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper

Directions

Combine cheese, almond milk, spread, salt and pepper in a microwave safe dish (preferably glass) microwave for 1 minute on high, remove from microwave and with a whisk stir well until cheese is distributed through the milk. Microwave for an additional 2 minutes, remove often and stir with whisk to help reduce cheese chunks. I use this over steamed broccoli/cauliflower/ carrots when I want a change from plain veggies. This makes about 3 - 3 tsp servings.
