Spanish Rice

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 large onion, chopped
    1/4 cup oil
    1 can diced green chilies
    2 cups instant rice
    4 cups stewed tomatoes
    1 tsp garlic
    1/2 tsp pepper
    2 tsp season salt

Directions

Heat oil and add diced onion and green chilies and seasonings. Fry for approx. 15 minutes stirring. Add rice and stir with a fork
add stew tomatoes. Turn down heat to low and steam for approx 20 to 25 minutes. stir now and then with a fork. Done when riceis soft and flavorable. Serve 8
