Introduction

Ingredients

    2/3 cup warm water
    1-1/2 Tbsp. canola oil
    1/4 cup honey
    1 large egg
    1/2 tsp vanilla
    1 tsp salt
    3 cups unbleached white bread flour
    1 large banana, sliced
    2 tsp poppy seeds
    2 tsp active dry yeast

Directions

Add ingredients to breadmaker in the order listed. Makes a 2-lb loaf. Enjoy!

  • This worked well and was tasty. I found it needed a little something, it was great with a little jam or honey on top and really good fresh and warm! I think it would also be great with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream! - 9/2/09
