Iced Tea

Introduction

This tea has some sugar in it. Less than 1 cup per half gallon. I'm working on lessening the sugar as I go along. This tea has some sugar in it. Less than 1 cup per half gallon. I'm working on lessening the sugar as I go along.

Ingredients

    Two family sized tea bags. For me, it's one bag regular and one bag decaf.
    3/4 cup sugar
    water

Directions

Makes 8 servings of 8oz cups

Put 4 cups of water on to boil.
Put 2 family sized tea bags in a half gallon pitcher
Once water boils, pour over tea bags
Put lid loosely on pitcher
Let steep for around 4 minutes or so. (the longer it steeps, the stronger the tea)
Pull out bags and discard
put in sugar
mix until dissolved
pour in 4 cups of water (or until 2 quarts)
Drink over ice or chill in fridge.
