Chicken Parmesan

Introduction
Yum! Cheesy chicken with pasta sauce. Yum! Cheesy chicken with pasta sauce.Ingredients
- 4 large chicken breasts
- olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- 1 cup pasta sauce
- 8 oz. mozzarella cheese
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350° F.
2. Heat the sauce in the microwave or over the stove until hot.
3. Pound the chicken breasts until they have a uniform thickness. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Heat enough oil to cover the pan in a nonstick pan over medium heat until hot. Sauté the chicken breasts until cooked through and golden, about 5 minutes on the first side and 3 minutes on the other.
4. Dip the chicken in the sauce and then add to a casserole dish. Pour remaining sauce over and top with cheese. Bake the chicken in the oven until the cheese is melted.
Serves 4.

5 Stars for quick, easy and it tastes really good. My husband always complains when I serve chicken, but not this time. He did not say a word about it which means he liked it. I cooked it completely in a skillet. After adding the sauce and cheese, I covered it with a lid and turned the heat off. - 12/5/07

My family really loved this recipe. I doubled it for 9 chicken breasts and baked it in a smaller casserole dish. Because of the size of the dish I was able to only use 1 cup of cheese on double the recipe. It was still great. If healthier meals taste this great I will always eat healthy. Thank you! - 1/8/12

I'm sorry, I can't rate a recipe I can't try because there are no specifics given...ie., how BIG is the chicken breast, how MUCH olive oil, which TYPE of pasta sauce and mozzarella cheese?
