Introduction

Being my Husband DR has him on a different diet I decided to make Turkey Chili as we can both eat it. It is a very hardy dinner.
This makes 16 1- cup servings

This makes 16 1- cup servings

Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    Turkey meat, 32 oz
    Diced Tomatoes, 29 oz
    Tomato paste, 6 oz
    Chili Seasons, 2.5 oz
    Bell Pepper, Orange, 0.5 cup
    red bell pepper, 0.5 cup
    Green Pepper (bell pepper), 0.5 cup
    Western family Black Beans Dry, 8 serving
    Western Family Garbanzo Beans Dry, 8 serving
    Western Family Red Kidney Beans Dry, 8 serving
    Western Family Large Lima Beans Dry, 1.5 serving

    *2.5 servings bottle water (20 oz.), 1 serving

Directions

1) cook Turkey meat
2) Add Diced tomotoes 2 cans
3) add 1 bottle of water 16.9oz
4) Add chopped up peppers all
5) Add all beans. I use dried beans that I had prepared the day before.
6) Add Tomato paist stire till it is blended in.
7) Add chili seasons.
Cook on stove till it comes to a boil. Remove and put in a crock pot.
8) remove 3 cups put in the blender and puree. Then add back to Crock Pot and stire in.
9) Cook on high till it starts boiling then turn down to low and cook for 2 more hours stiring every so often.

This makes 16 1-cup servings.
You can freeze it in 1 or 2 cup containers for later use.
