Coconut Macaroons

Introduction

These are a lovely little sweet treat and won't do too much damage. They are very quick and simple to make. They remind me of my childhood because my mum made them all the time! These are a lovely little sweet treat and won't do too much damage. They are very quick and simple to make. They remind me of my childhood because my mum made them all the time!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    50g sugar
    100g desiccated coconut
    1 egg white

Directions

Whisk together the egg white and sugar until light and fluffy.

2) Mix in the coconut.

3) On a parchment lined baking tray, put a dessert spoon full on the mixture.

4) Bake at 180c for 10 min. Cool on the tray for 5 minutes then on a wire rack.
