Introduction

Diced Tomato, Onion, Serrano or Jalapeņo, Garlic, Cilantro with a dash of Lemon or Lime juice. Hold the Salt to control your sodium and add some Onion and Garlic powder. Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1. 3 med Roma (Italian) tomatoes or about 250g
    2. 1 med Red or Sweet White Onion or about 175g
    3. 1 Small Serrano Chili Pepper or 1/2 small Jalapeņo
    4. 1/4 cup (about 6 sprigs) of Cilantro
    5. 2 cloves Garlic.
    6. 1/4 tsp Onion powder.
    7. 1/4 tsp Garlic powder.
    8. 14.8 ml (1 tbsp) Lemon or Lime juice.

Directions

Makes 6 half cup servings
Dice Tomato and Onion to your favorite size (1/4 to 1/2 in).
Mince Pepper and Garlic.
Toss until mixed and add Onion and Garlic powder.
Toss again to distribute spices.
Add 1 tbsp (14.8 ml) Lemon or Lime juice and mix again.
Ready to serve and will keep in the frig for 4-6 days..
