Introduction

Mix and match cans of beans. The cocoa takes out the afterbite of the spices for those who don't like hot foods, I leave it out if making it just for me but add it in if my sisters are going to be eating with me. Ingredients

    4 cans black beans
    1 can kidney beans
    1 can white beans
    1 large can crushed tomatoes
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 can diced tomatoes
    1.5 lbs ground turkey
    1 medium onion
    spoonful cocoa powder or one packet hot chocolate mix

    Spices: chili powder, cayenne pepper, cumin, oregano, red pepper flakes for heat

Directions

Cook turkey in skillet with onion. (If you like super-meaty chili, use 2.5 lbs) Combine all ingredients in crockpot, cook at least one hour. The longer, the better. I normally just throw in the spices without measuring, for a full crockpot prolly about 1T of the cumin, 2T. oregano and 1t of all the rest.
