Campbell's Slow Cooker Chicken Stew

Ingredients

    2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
    3 stalks celery, chopped
    1 medium onion, quartered
    4 medium potatoes, diced
    14 baby carrots, chopped
    1 large turnip, diced
    1 cup sliced mushrooms
    1 can low fat cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
    1 can low fat cream of celery soup, undiluted
    1 cup water
    1 tsp ground thyme
    1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper

Directions

1- Place the chicken and veggies into a 6-quart slow cooker.
2- Stir the soup, water, thyme and black pepper in a small bowl. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken and vegetables.
3- Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours (HIGH for 4 to 5 hours) or until the chicken is cooked through.
4- Remove the chicken, shred with 2 forks, return to slow cooker and stir.
Makes 8 1-cup servings
