Skillet Black Beans

Introduction

I like my Black Beans, & on occasion, like to jazz them up a bit. These are flavorful. I like my Black Beans, & on occasion, like to jazz them up a bit. These are flavorful.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 15 oz. can Black Beans (with 3/4 liquid drained)
    4 oz. can chopped Green Chiles, drained
    1/3 cup chopped Onion
    2 garlic cloves minced
    1 tsp Olive oil

Directions

Heat Olive oil in skillet, over med heat. Add onion, & saute approx 3 mins. add garlic, saute another 3 minutes. Add green chiles, ccok, stirring freq., until well heated, about 4 minutes. add beans, & mix all together. Cook for approx 6-7 minutes, stirring freq. Do not overcook, or they will be to dry. If they do get dry, add a little of water to skillet. I like adding a little hot sauce too. Makes 4 1/2 cup servings
