Mushroom and Tomato Pasta

Ingredients

    Light Cream (coffee cream or table cream), .5 cup (remove)
    Milk, nonfat, .5 cup (remove)
    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 2 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) (remove)
    Mushrooms, fresh, .5 cup, pieces or slices (remove)
    Onions, raw, .5 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)
    Whole Wheat Spaghetti, cooked (pasta), 2 cup (remove)
    Parsley, dried, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Basil, .5 tbsp (remove)
    Tomato Paste, .5 can (6 oz) (remove)
    Green Peppers (bell peppers), 0.5 cup, chopped (remove)
    Garlic powder, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Parmesan Cheese, grated, .25 cup (remove)

Directions

1. Saute onion, mushrooms, olive oil for 2-3 minutes until soft and fragrant.

2. Add milk and cream and bring to boil. Reduce and let simmer 5 minutes.

3. Add tomato and tomato paste. Stir Well.

4. Add all seasonings and cheese. Stir Well.

5. Serve over whole wheat pasta. Enjoy!
