Awesome Reduced Fat Meatloaf

Introduction

I was not a meatloaf fan prior to trying this recipe, but now I love it (especially with a little barbeque sauce). My husband and 2 year old love it too! Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb. Jennie-O lean ground turkey
    1 lb. ground beef 93/7
    2 large eggs
    1 T. dijon mustard
    2 t. worchester sauce
    2 T. dried parsley
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2/.3 C. old fashion oatmeal (not instant)
    1 T. onion salt
    1 T. pepper
    1/3 C. Barbeque Sauce
    non-stick cooking spray

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Spray a skillet with non-stick cooking spray and saute onions for 8 minutes until tender.

In a large bowl, mix the ground turkey, ground beef, eggs, worchester sauce, dijon mustard, parsley, garlic, onion salt, pepper, and oatmeail together. Fold in onion.

Cover a large cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Spray aluminum foil with non-stick cooking spray. Shape the meat mixutre into 2 loaves. Brush the tops of both loaves with barbeque sauce.

Bake for 35 minutes, until both loaves are cooked through. Remove from oven and let stand 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
