Ingredients

5 c. old-fashioned oats
1/2 c. oat bran
1/2 c. wheat bran
1/2 c. toasted wheat germ
1 T. cinnamon (also try ginger, cardamon and/or nutmeg)
1/2 c. walnuts or slivered almonds
1/2 c. golden raisins
1/2 c. dried cranberries, dried blueberries, dried apricots, prunes, dates...etc.
1/4 c. maple or vanilla sugar (optional)
Directions
Combine all ingredients and store in an air-tight container.
The night before combine 1/2 cup with milk, yogurt or juice to soften the fruit and oats. The next morning you could add your preferred sweetener and fresh fruit before serving.
