Cabbage Soup

Introduction

Delicious low-fat/low carb soup! Freezes well! Delicious low-fat/low carb soup! Freezes well!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 Large head cabbage, chopped
    2 lbs carrots, peeled and sliced
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 tbsp dried or fresh parsley
    6 beef or chicken bouillon cubes (depends on taste preference)
    3 cloves fresh garlic
    8 C water
    salt & pepper to taste


Directions

Combine all ingredients in a large pot. Cook over high heat until it comes to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about an hour, or until carrots are tender.

You can add just about any seasonings to this, it just depends on what you like!

Also does well in a crock pot! Just put it all in and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

My opinion is that it tastes better the next day!!
