Pizza with chicken and carmelized onions

Introduction

This is easy to make and so delicious! Nice change from tomato based pizza. This is easy to make and so delicious! Nice change from tomato based pizza.
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    2 cups sliced onions, 2 tsp. olive oil, 4 oz. cooked diced chicken breast, 2 oz. part skim shredded mozzarella cheese, 2 whole wheat pita rounds

Directions

Heat olive oil in a skillet, add onions slices and saute until golden brown and carmelized. Place 2 oz of chicken, half of carmelized onion and 1 oz mozzarella cheese on top of each pita round. Put pizza on a baking sheet and bake in 350 degree oven until cheese is bubbly. Makes 2 servings.
