This hot cereal is packed with good fats, complex carbs and protein to keep you going strong throughout your morning.

This hot cereal is packed with good fats, complex carbs and protein to keep you going strong throughout your morning.

Ingredients

    1/2 cup Bob's Red Mill TVP
    1/2 cup 1% Milk
    1 tsp Maple Extract (or vanilla if you don't have maple)
    4 tsp Splenda
    1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
    1 oz chopped walnuts - divided into equal halves
    15 grams raisins - divided
    2 tsp flax seeds - divided
    1 oz raw pumpkin seeds - divided

Directions

heat milk to boil, add extract, Splenda, cinnamon and TVP - stir well, cover and let stand for 5 to 10 minutes.

Divide into 2 equal portions and add half of the walnuts, raisins, flax and pumpkin seeds to each serving.

Enjoy warm with a splash of milk (1% or soya/almond milk if you prefer)
