Easy Crock Pot Chili

Introduction

Very simple and tasty! Made with packaged chili seasoning. Use ground turkey for better nutritional value! Very simple and tasty! Made with packaged chili seasoning. Use ground turkey for better nutritional value!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2 lbs lean ground beef
    3 16 oz cans pinto beans
    1 16 oz can tomatoes, broken up
    1 12 oz can tomato paste
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 large bell pepper, chopped
    4 cups water
    2 pkgs McCormick Chili Seasoning

Directions

Brown ground beef and drain fat. Pour into crock pot and add remaining ingredients.

Stir and cook on high 3-4 hours, or low 6-8 hours.

I use pinto beans just because I prefer them over kidney beans. Not sure what the difference is in nutritional value (if any) if you were to substitute kidney for pintos. Just depends on your which you prefer.

Makes 12 (1 cup) servings
