9 cups of tomatoes
2 Â½ cups onions
1-cup white vinegar
1/3 cup salt
1/3 cup sugar
1 T chili powder
1 t black pepper
1 t cayenne pepper (opt.)
1 t cumin
1 T garlic powder or 3 cloves fresh
1/4 â€“ 1/3 cup jalapeÃ±o peppers
Peel and cut the onions into quarters.
Mix powdered ingredients together.
In a blender, add some tomatoes, some onions, some vinegar, some powdered ingredients, and some jalapeÃ±os. Start with Â¼ cup of peppers and increase depending on desired heat factor.)
Blend. You can pulse for a chunkier sauce.
Repeat until all ingredients have gone through the blender. Simmer for fifteen minutes. Make 24 1/3 cup servings.
