Bell and Banana Pepper tomato sauce

Introduction

Mild hot, great over spaghetti, mixed in chilli or sloppy joes. I love it over shirataki noodles. Mild hot, great over spaghetti, mixed in chilli or sloppy joes. I love it over shirataki noodles.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2 large green bell peppers, chopped
    2 large red bell peppers, chopped
    8 banana peppers, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 (28 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes
    1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
    1/4 cup canola oil
    2 Tablespoons garlic powder (or to taste)
    salt to taste

Directions

1. Cut all peppers and onion into large dice and put in a large pot.
2. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oil and garlic powder and salt, let simmer until vegetables are soft.
3. This makes 6 pints or 3 quarts of sauce and can be frozen also.
4. Makes 12 (1 cup) servings.
