Mixed bean hummus

Introduction

Subbing half of the garbanzos for lower-fat black or small white beans and the olive oil and tahini for a small amount of sesame oil, plus a veggie, makes this version of hummus tasty and healthier than other versions. Ingredients

    Rienzi Chick Peas, 1.25 cup
    Goya, White beans, 1.25 cup
    Sesame Oil, 0.04 cup
    Lemon juice, 1 tbsp
    Garlic, 4 cloves
    Pepper, black, 1 dash
    sea salt, 0.25 tsp
    Carrot shredded, 3 oz

Directions

Drain and rinse the beans and add them to food processor or blender. Peel the garlic cloves and scrub the carrot (or other veggie, as you prefer), slicing it into chunks to fit the processor. Add all ingredients to the food processor and blend until smooth, adding water as necessary. Makes 10 servings of about 1/4 cup each.
