Pepper Soup

Introduction

A great way to use extra peppers from the garden. A great way to use extra peppers from the garden.
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    2# extra lean ground beef
    1 28 oz can tomato sauce
    1 28 oz can diced tomatoes
    4 cups chopped sweet peppers any kind/color
    2 T. beef bouillon granules
    6 cups water
    1 t. black pepper
    salt to taste

Directions

In a large pot or Duth oven with medium heat, brown ground beef until no longer pink, rinse cooked meat under hot water to remove extra fat. Place back in pot and add balance of ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to a simmer until all ingredients are cooked. Usually 30-45 mins. Allow to set for 5 minutes before serving. Makes 16 1-cup servings.
