Introduction

this recipe was passed down form my loving mother to me. It is not the traditional pasta fagiole recipe but it is wonderful to have on a cold day and the kids love it...goes great with garlic bread this recipe was passed down form my loving mother to me. Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    *1/4 lb 85% hamburg 4oz, 4 serving
    *Pork & Beans, Campbell's (1/2 Cup), 2 serving
    Tomato Sauce, 3.5 cup
    Garlic, 3 cloves
    Pasta, Ditalini, Barilla, 16 oz
    salt
    pepper

Directions

brown hamburger and drain. Add garlic and tomato sauce. Let that simmer and cook for 20 minutes.Once done turn off heat and add beans. Meanwhile bring water to boil and cook pasta until al dente. Rinse pasta in the pan with cool water until all starch is rinsed out. leave pasta barely covered with water and add sauce mixture to it. Mix and bring to a boil. Pasta should soften. Serve hot with grated cheese. Makes 10 1.5c servings
